Resources and tools for businesses
Businesses create jobs, attract investments and add to the vitality of a neighborhood or community. Supporting businesses and our commercial corridors is a priority for Lighthouse to help create sustainable communities. We partner with several organizations to provide training and technical assistance to businesses, specifically located or looking to locate in the Southtown area. As we streamline our job creation and retention strategies, the level of technical assistance/training will be expanded in 2010 to include other businesses besides microenterprises. Individuals with business ideas (and preferably a business plan) are strongly encouraged to contact us and to participate in our business trainings. A list of available trainings or workshops and applicable fees would be updated on our web calendar . Contact us if you have questions about this program or would like to receive TA/training. Visit our Commercial Services page for information on the various tools and services offered.
TA/training is available to address several business issues such as business registration, accounting, taxes, workforce development, and marketing.
