Lighthouse awarded federal grant for housing counseling services
Lighthouse Communities is one of several non-profits in Grand Rapids that will receive a grant from the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to help address foreclosure and housing issues in our communities through counseling and financial literacy. Lighthouse Communities is a HUD-approved counseling agency and has been offering housing and financial counseling services to numerous families and individuals that have been affected by foreclosure, are faced with financial issues, or are planning on becoming homeowners.
