Gio moved to United States from the Dominican Republic in 1986 while living in New York. She then moved to Grand Rapids in the fall of 1988. Gio went to school while raising her family and working for Ascet here in Grand Rapids.
She likes working with community assistance agencies and programs, it gives her great joy to be able to help people in need.
Gio has joined the Lighthouse team as a forclosure counselor and she is very fortunate to be able to assist people in trying to keep their homes.
